• At the Internet gateway: Using Firewalls with best of breed technologies to scan for hackers, security threats, prevent intrusions, viruses and spyware before they reach your internal network.
• Antivirus, both on the server and desktop level: Ensure maximum virus protection network-wide. To be effective it is essential that the server and client components are correctly installed and managed. LanXpert provides a central management and reporting station for all client components spread across the network. Our administrators use this central console to schedule scans, automatically push new virus definitions, and monitor alerts on all desktop clients.
• Email Spam/Virus Filtering: LanXpert recommends that all email be scanned for spam and viruses before they reach the company network. We provide a cost effective solution for this to our clients as part of our standard service offering. In addition, LanXpert installs Antivirus filtering on the Exchange server which scans incoming and outgoing email messages as well as attachments for viruses.
• Backup: LanXpert uses a multifaceted approach to backup both critical files and related data. We run both traditional backup software and the latest image based backup solutions with offsite rotation for recovery data in the event of a disaster.
